OKRs I worked on this week:
Junior review preparation
Prepare and do an internship
OKRs I plan to work on during the spring break:
Confidently talk about my primary interests and my top strength
Prepare and do an internship
“Junior review preparation”
I plan to add one more case study into my website. It is a project called “Chengdu Laid-back Map”. Despite being a team project (which is good considering the role I am interviewing requires me to have team coordination skills), it has stronger UI, system design, Ux design than my previous project. I believe this project would help me achieve a higher grade in the junior review criteria.
“Prepare and do an internship”
I had two interviews with two companies last week, both went really well given the fact that I did a lot of preparation prior to the interviews. During the interview, I was able to confidently talk about my strength, my projects, as well as the questions the recruiters ask me. I have passed the first interview process with Toast and I am still waiting for a response from Zendesk. On the other hand, ever since I got these opportunities, I have been feeling less apologetic about not being a qualified candidate for an internship. Sometimes, I just need a little bit of validation to keep me going.

Spring Break Plan:
“Confidently talk about my primary interests and my top strength”
The next urgent task I need to do is to prepare for a slide deck presentation for the upcoming interviews. If I get to interview with the design teams, I need to be able to talk about my projects professionally and fluently. I am thinking about putting together decks for “Pigeon Post” and “Chengdu Laid-back Map”.
“Prepare and do an internship”
I have scheduled the second interview with Toast hiring manager, it is going to be about assessing whether I am a cultural and behavioral fit for this role. I decided to prepare that by researching more about Toast and writing down talking points for possible interview questions.
